The Charring Process 
One of the most exciting elements of  working with wood is the opportunity to stretch the boundaries a bit..  I'm not sure where the idea came from, but it started with a small bowl, added fire, adored the amazing texture change it imparted to the wood  .. and so a different approach to woodwork has taken bloom.
